A Little Bit About Me
I'm not really sure how well I can express myself in this format but I'll do my best. I certainly do feel i can't replicate a face to face scenario where people can learn about one another but here's some useful information for you.


I grew up in a conservative Muslim family in London and have been in NY for a while now. I love it here, especially because my British sense of humor and my accent makes life quite entertaining here.

I would say I'm a goal oriented driven individual. I've been in sales my entire professional life which has encompassed several different industries. Presently I am working for an excellent company as a business/advertising consultant and thoroughly enjoy it.

I have a brilliant family, most of whom are in medicine and two beautiful daughters who live with their mum.

I'm pretty well settled in life now after much turbulence which included drifting away from deen for several years but found my way back Alhamdulillah. My deen is my priority and im genuinely striving to ready myself to face Allah swt whenever that day comes.

I adjust well in all circles, very adaptable, quick witted, some say highly intelligent, and I like to agree with them :)

I'm not one to take selfies or jump into pictures much but my main pic is very representative of me while the others less so. I'm very honest and straight forward, integrity and respect is important to me. So is my soccer team, liverpool fc.

I do cook for myself and am no joke. I make a proper chai too!

I should add that i love intellect, it's very sexy, so is confidence.

Believe it or not I have faults, but im fixing what I can but I'm quite fun so that should compensate a little. I do like the occasional indian movie and enjoy a little music too. Love my Netflix, Hulu etc etc

What I Am Looking For
I would be interested in someone who is a mix of cultures like myself, who likes a good laugh and who is a bit progressive minded *not really sure what i meant by that but it sounded good*

It's important to me that i meet someone who is generally happy and not a sad case with a fake smile. Someone down to earth who is not too caught up in the trappings of dunya.

I want to spend time with someone who wants to serve others. That's really important to me because every penny we get comes from Allah swt and is a test. I do like material things but i now understand it's more important to help other's need for basics.
